This wedding photography session took place in Maxwell, California at the Dennis family ranch/farms. The location of the wedding was AMAZING. It took place out in the middle of  a orchard on a mountain top. Can you say BREATHTAKING VIEWS!!!  I have to say out of all our weddings this year this couple has been one of my favorite to photograph. Not only for their personalities but for their breathtaking locations we had access to. Most men as we all know DONT enjoy taking pictures. This is not the case with Stacy’s new husband Zach. Zach was the life of our photo shoot at both the engagement and wedding ALWAYS cracking a joke and making us laugh. It made for a VERY fun experience for all of us. This wedding took place at the end of may. You would think may you would get good weather. Not the case with this wedding. We showed up that day and it was pouring rain, we expected a disaster. It was quiet the opposite with this couple. They were so kick back and just knew everything would work out as planned. Sure enough it did. ALL the pictures went as planned the wedding was beautiful and mother nature didn’t strike hard until the very end of the night. The night ended with high winds rain and lighting. It all worked out though. Big thing is just having faith as that we all did that day. Well, stacy and Zach- it was a PLEASURE working with you over this last year and I cant wait to watch your family grow into something amazing! Congratulations!

Just a note, we had the privilege of having this wedding documented for us by one of my amazing staff. I know very well our clients like to see the behind the scenes footage on how we get what we get. This wedding we were able to do that. We basically had one of my staff just be at this event as a fly on the wall just capturing every fun moment that happened this day. I’m so happy we did. It really is amazing all the moments that lead up to that perfect image. I hope you enjoy seeing some of our funny moments we encountered with this couple and I hope we we make you feel like we have taken you there to these moments in time. what a fun job this is! After viewing this post you will know why I fell in love with this job!

This yuba city newborn photography session was done in my studio on Ohleyer Rd. This is one of my hairdressers and new Favorite Friends Rachel Horns new baby girl Lily. Rachel is one of the funniest people I have  met in a long time. Every time I get to hang out with her and all the other amazing staff at the broadway salon and spa I am SURE to have a great time and lots of laughs! This is her new baby Lily. She was an ABSOLUTE DOLL for her yuba city newborn photography session. I had the pleasure of also doing her maternity session just a month ago. Who would have thought that just 3 years ago we would have grown to the size we are today. I would have never imagined this at all.

Here we are in Fall of 2010 committed to so many amazing events within our community. So keep your eyes out! We will be a little bit of everywhere this fall! In this post there will be all of our community events we will be out at from September to December. Again I thank all of you for making us who we are today! This Maternity Photography session was taken at my home in Yuba City.We also traveled to Rai Farms for a little urban backdrop!  Sarah’s husband, Chad, bought a gift certificate for a Maternity Photography session for his wife!  It was so sweet!   What an adorable couple!  They are so excited for their little girl to arrive in September!  We can’t wait to meet that baby girl!  Thank you and what a thoughful hubby you are Chad!

This Wedding Photography session was taken at the Carother’s home in Sutter and at various locations throughout Sutter!   Heidi and Troy were absolutely precious together!  This wedding was a complete fairy tale!  The Carother’s Family put a lot of work into preparing to host this wedding at their home and it was gorgeous!  We had a great time traveling throughout Sutter with Heidi and Troy to capture some amazing photos in their home town!  We visited Sutter High School where each of these two attended!  We had a great time with some fun shots of these two in the bleachers and on the field!  The ceremony was beautiful!  Many of Troy’s Coast Guard friends came out to witness this amazing day!  The Coasties formed a sword tunnel for Heidi and Troy to exit their ceremony.  The food was all homemade and wonderful!  They had a line of 15 or so waffle makers preparing waffles for an amazing brunch!  This was a spectacular wedding!  The Carother’s Family did an amazing job of planning their little girl’s wedding!  To look back at Heidi and Troy’s engagement shoot, click here.

reed3reed1This Wedding Photography session was taken at Gale Vineyards in Durham.  It was absolutely gorgeous!  We had so much fun figuring out how we were going to capture all of the beauty of the property in our photos!  Cindy and Jerry were absolutely adorable!  They were so calm and relaxed throughout this entire process!  What a sweet couple!  We had a great time capturing some amazing detail shots with Cindy’s dress and shoes and their rings!  Gale Vineyards is an amazing location! We hope to visit there again sometime!

This Senior/Graduate Photography session was taken in Urban Marysville. What a fun session we had with Michael Depalma.  He was absolutely hilarious!  He had Amy and I cracking up the entire session!  I am sure he is the class clown at school.  Michael is graduating from Marysville High School where he plays baseball.  He drives an El Camino, so we incorporated that into his session! This Senior/Graduate Photography session was taken in Urban Marysville at our Sutter location!   Catelyn was just and adorable and sweet girl!  She is graduating from River Valley High School.  We thank Kathy Magenheimer for referring Catelyn.  We took Alec’s photos last year and have had a lot of fun working with the Magenheimer family!  Catelyn’s session had to be cancelled because of the wind last week, but thankfully we were able to reschedule quickly and get her in for these photos!  She is very excited to graduate!  Congratulations Catelyn.

This Family Photography session was taken at a new Wildflower location!  We were told today that they were letting the bees go in our regular Wildflower location, so we’re not going to be able to shoot there!   Mom REALLY wanted the Wildflowers because dad is a farmer and it would be PERFECT!  So I did my research and Rai Farms has a new Wildflower location for us!   Good thing because I have a bunch of sessions on Sunday!  Well little Anna was absolutely adorable!  We had so much fun getting amazing photos for this little cuties 1st Birthday!  Thank you so much to the Bains/ Toor Family for a wonderful session!  I’m glad we were able to find a new Wildflower location!   Thank you Thank you to Rai farms for helping us out!  We have seen the Bains family 3 times in the past 6 months.  We love taking photos of this family!  To look back at their Halloween Session, click here!
