Kids are back in school, days will be getting shorter, and before we know it Christmas will be here! Well I have one word for this last year “AMAZING.” I can hardly believe how blessed my company has become and what an amazing team we have at this point. Who would have thought that just 3 years ago we would have grown to the size we are today. I would have never imagined this at all.

Here we are in Fall of 2010 committed to so many amazing events within our community. So keep your eyes out! We will be a little bit of everywhere this fall! In this post there will be all of our community events we will be out at from September to December. Again I thank all of you for making us who we are today! Thanks for yet another great year and I CANT wait to make memories happen for your families this Fall/Winter.

This was the Mann Family. I had the absolute pleasure of doing their newborn photography session. Baby Logan traveled all up from sacramento just to visit with us this morning. Baby Logan was 4 weeks old today when we did his session. A bit older than I want to do my newborns but ” what the heck we say here at MTR- we always are up for a good challenge”. We were scheduled last week at 3 weeks and mommy got ill so we rescheduled for 4 weeks. I was not sure what we would get at 4 weeks. But much to our surprise Little logan cooperated just as planned. It did take a considerably more time to conduct our session but if  you ask his mommy and daddy as they observed us work our magic – it was worth every minute of it. This family was amazing. The kindness and warmth I felt from them was amazing from the 1st email I received from them to the moment they walked thru my doors. I cant wait to watch the  baby Logan grow thru his 1st year of life. What an honor it is to help capture this short time in their little lives that goes by oh so fast!  Thank Mann family for the pleasure of working with your beautiful family and can’t wait to see you all again soon!

This newborn photography session was doen in our studio here in yuba city. Baby Emery was a dream. Her family is one of drove up all the way from Turlock to get their pictures done. This children’s and family photography session was taken at one of our private locations in yuba city. This is the time all of you have been waiting for the beautiful wildflowers. We just launched marketing for these babies this weekend and are expecting to be very busy in the next month. I cant promise how long the fields will be in bloom so booking early is recommended. This is one of my favorite little girls I mean princesses- Abby. Abby is now in grade school but has grown up in my daycare since she was a wee one. We always have an amazing time when out shooting. She is in love with her preschool sweetheart {Zach }. I know when shooting with abby all I need to do is talk about Zach and I get her instantly daydreaming. I love what I get when go on and on about her 1st love. LOL. She is an absolute doll. Thanks Eustler family for your time. It was so much fun playing today. It was fun trying new ideas as most times I really dont have time to just play. I really enjoyed our time. Cant wait to see you guys for your family photography session here very soon!

This was the stewart Family. This Yuba City Family Photography session was done as a traveling session. This family was an absolute Riot!!! You have dad, who is an absolute comedian, then Nolan the teenager who finds no humor in his dads jokes and mom who is polite and quiet but has a very funny side to her also. This family kept us rolling the entire session. It so happened they are good friends with Miss Jena my assistant also. This made for an even better time. Well your jokes and your time was well worth it. Your family is beautiful and I enjoyed every minute of capturing all of your fun personalities from quiet and shy to bold and funny. I hope your love your images as much as I enjoyed taking them. As for the teenage years— just keep cracking those jokes!

You guys were so much fun! ENJOY!

Mom always said don’t play with your food! Well thats exactly what me and Amy bullock of Family Values magazine did last week as we helped pull together a new marketing Ad for the thriving restaurant. This commercial photography session took place at the Lumber Jacks Restaurant in Yuba city. It is not my traditional family subjects I am so used to. When I got the call for this job I was a little unsure. I had photographed a lot of things but food… I gave it a shot and it was actually a lot of fun. Me and Amy giggled as we arranged food to its best looking fashion for this Ad. Well amy hundreds of images later I hope you both will be happy. All I know is I’m hungry after editing these guys. What fun. Thanks Scott for having us out it was a blast!
