As all of you might know we are quickly approaching the busiest time of the year for yuba city photography. By next week the sessions begin. Who would have thought being a photographer in yuba city could be this busy. This December will mark moments to remembers 2nd anniversary doing family and children’s photography. This started out just a fun hobby for me as I messed around with doing sessions here and there. Well nearly 2 years later it has become a 2nd profession for me. As many of you know I run a daycare as my normal profession and I intend on keeping it that was for some time. So in order to make all this magic work we have many elves helping around here at MTR studios. I am so happy to say we have so many fun events planned for this fall and so many neat products to offer right along with your family photography sessions. my little elves have been very busy building christmas card templates for over a week now. I am pleased to say we have about 300 templates from traditional to elegant to choose from. All of these templates are completely customizable, as we can change colors fonts and amount of pictures in most samples. This means there is something special for everyone. Later next week our session madness begins as we have about 10 sessions scheduled per week. WOW! I have quiet a list of clients who have requested fall sessions and I will be calling you I promise. For me getting all our marketing pieces/events, christmas cards and product line launched was far more important. Once these things are in place there is none of that madness left to do but only to let the session begin! I am happy to say that next week it will begin! I am so excited to see all your happy faces and meet lots of new people this fall. The Christmas card templates are in a locked proofing gallery only for MTR clients viewing. This 1st Birthday Children’s photography session took place at my home/studio in Yuba City. This is The Clemens Family. I have been little Kallie’s Personal infant photographer since January. I get a kick out of this little girl. She is so darn cute! I love her to pieces. She is the happiest thing on earth. Never a tear only smiles. She is welcomed in my studio any day! Her big blue eyes KILL ME! I got the pleasure of doing baby Kallie’s 1st birthday session last week. It was so much fun. Ragan is one of my friends and good clients always sending new clients over to see me. We Love her!!! Thanks Ragan for another fun round and we will see you soon!

This was a newborn sessions done in my studio in Yuba City. Although I mainly specialize in children and family photography here in Yuba City I still love doing newborn photography. As you all might know by now I have turned into a photographer of color so you know I had to find a way to get some crazy color in this shoot. Tessa is on of my fav clients and is always so carefree and lets me do whatever I want – so we played.  I was very happy with what we came up with. Here we go with another precious newborn I get to photograph thru their first year.  I love photography and all the joy it brings to those around you.  Thanks for choosing me as your photographer Murphy family there are lots of choices in Yuba City for photography. What an honor! Can’t wait to watch your precious family grow together.

Today I had the privilege of being on my 1st traveling photography session with this Yuba City family. I have been the Ellis Families Photographer since early 2009 and have loved every minute of knowing this family. I love working with them as they are soooo much fun as you will see in their portfolio. This is not your traditional photography session that I do at my studio in Yuba City. In fact it’s quiet the opposite.  When you travel and find neat locations like these the sky is the limit on what I can do with a family. This Photography style is not for everyone but I am hoping it may spark the interest of some o f my Yuba City and Marysville clients and cause them to think outside the box for their sessions. I am not only exclusively going to be doing urban, but I do want to offer urban kids and urban family photography as a choice now for families. I still get calls daily for the jeans and white t-shirts very traditional photo shoots and I am happy to accommodate those clients as that was the foundation of my business. I may now however choose suggesting spicing your clothing selection up a bit with splashes of color. Now that clients have seen some of my new colorful stylish work several of you have requested clothing consultations. This has been very fun to accommodate you on this because I believe whole heartedly clothing/color is key in my sessions now. It makes for one more interesting factor to make your family picture different from any one else’s. Thanks Ellis family for an awesome photography session.
