reed3reed1This Wedding Photography session was taken at Gale Vineyards in Durham.  It was absolutely gorgeous!  We had so much fun figuring out how we were going to capture all of the beauty of the property in our photos!  Cindy and Jerry were absolutely adorable!  They were so calm and relaxed throughout this entire process!  What a sweet couple!  We had a great time capturing some amazing detail shots with Cindy’s dress and shoes and their rings!  Gale Vineyards is an amazing location! We hope to visit there again sometime!

This Yuba City Commercial Photography session was taken at my Yuba City studio!  When I booked this appointment, I was expecting a very plain dental office staff.  Boy was I wrong… this group is so much fun!  We had a great time during out entire session.  They gave us a glimpse of what it is like to work in their office!  I’m sure they have a blast all of the time!  They had me laughing throughout our session!  Thanks Dr. Gibson and his team for a wonderful session!

This Senior/Graduate Photography session was taken at multiple outdoor locations.  Jessica was in control of her session!  She had some great plans for where she wanted her photos shot!  We traveled throughout Yuba City searching for flower fields.  We had a lot of fun with the cherry blossoms in the orchards.  We ended at Rai Farms where we captured some amazing photographs. Jessica is a Senior at River Valley High School.  She plays the guitar, so we incorporated her guitar into her Senior Photography session.  Thanks Jessica for a fun session!

This was a new client of mine the Sharma Family. They were so fun to work with! You never know what your going to get when a family walks thru the door. Every child is at a different place as far as what they will do in a new strange place. Little Kayden did really well. He was a little shy. We had big plans to do lots of exciting stuff for individual pictures but really all he wanted was his mommy. What was going to be a basic children’s session with a  few shots of mommy and him turned into something totally amazing. I did manage to get some really cute single shots of him but mostly I was able to capture the connection between him and his mommy.  I know these images are so much more special and timeless for mom anyways. The next time I see Kayden he will probably be a bit older and just fine doing all the fun things I have planned for him independently. As one of my favorite songs go… It wont be like this for long- or he wont be like this for long! Enjoy your precious baby Megan you both were amazing to work with! See you next time!

What a fun weekend!  Filled with Community and Charity Events.  The Christmas Stroll was so much fun!  We saw over 120 families and took their pictures with Santa at no charge.  Thank you to Pelton’s Party Rental for providing the background for this Community Photography session.  This was a 100% charity event.  With the help of Gold Country Bank we were able to take and print all of these photos.  If you had your photo taken,  your 4×6 photo will be ready to pick  up at Gold Country Bank on Monday, December 14th.  Below, you will find a link to a website where you can find the JPEG of your image.  This year, Michelle has decided to allow you to download your image and use it as you would like for an extra little gift!  It was great to see everyone at the Christmas Stroll!  Thank you and Happy Holidays!  To see some of the Santa Photos taken at MTR studios, click here! This Sports Photography session was taken at our studio in Yuba City.  I had a great time working with this soccer team. I had a great time taking Soccer photos of these girls individually and as a team.  We are starting this new division of MTR, Sports Photography. We really enjoy taking photos of all of these teams.  We took another soccer teams Sports Photographs a few weeks ago, Yuba City High’s Competitive Cheer team, and Yuba City Parks and Recreation’s sports teams.  We are having so much fun expanding MTR.  What a wonderful opportunity!

Yuba City High’s Winter Ball is this Saturday, December 5th and we will be there taking each group’s photos from 8pm-midnight! We recently took the photographs for Yuba City High’s Sadie Hawkins dance which was so much fun!  It’s a pretty busy weekend and we have a lot of our staff out, but we have had wonderful mommies who have stepped up to help us out!  We have the best clients EVER!  Thank you so much!

This Family Photography session was a traveling photo session. We traveled from Live Oak to South Yuba City.  Mom had some specific locations she wanted for her pictures and they all turned out beautiful.  I absolutely love the railroad pictures.  This is the 2nd time we’ve seen the Floyd Family in the past few months.  We have enjoyed working with this family.  We hope to see them again soon.

Now all 3 Magenheimer children were here for photos. The Magenheimers are one of our new favorite families.   We have so much fun with this family every time they came. The entire family came for this session, so we had a great time.  We are looking forward to a Family Photography session in the spring with the family. They want to get special photos before their lives change; their oldest son will be going off to college. How exciting for Alec! This Family Photography session was taken at Shelton Farms.   The Shelton Family is one of our neighbors.   Every year they have a family photography session.   Lisa, her husband Steve and all of their animals have their pictures taken.   This year they had an aloha theme.   The dogs, cats, goats, horses, and her hubby wore leis for this year’s family photography session.    Lisa and Steve were very excited about their session!  The animals were so cooperative, they did just what we needed them to do.    We always have a great time trying to capture all of the animals and keep Lisa and Steve in place also.   Thank you Shelton family for another great family photography session.

darrach blog11This Family Photography session was taken at my studio in Yuba City.  This family has visited us before for a family photography session.  We had a great time capturing timeless images of this family of 12.  We had 4 generations represented here.   How special it was to have all of this family in one photo.  It’’s absolutely priceless.  I had a wonderful time with this family.  Thank you Darrach Family for allowing me to be a part of such a special, amazing photo session.

Duncan blogThis Yuba City Family Photography session was taken at my home in Yuba City. The Duncan Family are wonderful repeat clients. We love to work with the Duncan Family. This was Duncan day in the studio. Mom brought Daylan in the morning to get some 1st Birthday shots of him. Then they came back and brought sister, Kaylie with them to get birthday shots of both children. The whole Duncan family came in for their Family Photography session in the evening, taken at the Smith Estate. It was a fun day with the Duncans. Thank you so much for three amazing shoots. This Children’s Photography session was taken at my Yuba City studio.     Whitney is from the Jaegar/Traynham family!    We have followed her since she was in her mommy’s tummy!   She is such a precious little baby girl!   Big sister, Allie, came along for some pictures.   We were busy during this session.   We took Whitney’s 6 months pictures, the girls together, and the girls in their Halloween Costumes.   Thank you Traynham family for a wonderful session!   We look forward to seeing you again soon!   To look back at baby Whitney click Newborn or more newborn and  3 months!
