This wedding photography session took place in Maxwell, California at the Dennis family ranch/farms. The location of the wedding was AMAZING. It took place out in the middle of  a orchard on a mountain top. Can you say BREATHTAKING VIEWS!!!  I have to say out of all our weddings this year this couple has been one of my favorite to photograph. Not only for their personalities but for their breathtaking locations we had access to. Most men as we all know DONT enjoy taking pictures. This is not the case with Stacy’s new husband Zach. Zach was the life of our photo shoot at both the engagement and wedding ALWAYS cracking a joke and making us laugh. It made for a VERY fun experience for all of us. This wedding took place at the end of may. You would think may you would get good weather. Not the case with this wedding. We showed up that day and it was pouring rain, we expected a disaster. It was quiet the opposite with this couple. They were so kick back and just knew everything would work out as planned. Sure enough it did. ALL the pictures went as planned the wedding was beautiful and mother nature didn’t strike hard until the very end of the night. The night ended with high winds rain and lighting. It all worked out though. Big thing is just having faith as that we all did that day. Well, stacy and Zach- it was a PLEASURE working with you over this last year and I cant wait to watch your family grow into something amazing! Congratulations!

Just a note, we had the privilege of having this wedding documented for us by one of my amazing staff. I know very well our clients like to see the behind the scenes footage on how we get what we get. This wedding we were able to do that. We basically had one of my staff just be at this event as a fly on the wall just capturing every fun moment that happened this day. I’m so happy we did. It really is amazing all the moments that lead up to that perfect image. I hope you enjoy seeing some of our funny moments we encountered with this couple and I hope we we make you feel like we have taken you there to these moments in time. what a fun job this is! After viewing this post you will know why I fell in love with this job!

This Newborn Photography session was taken in my studio in Yuba City!  Little Brooke is an angel!   She is absolutely precious!  We had new flower pretties from Trew Luv, so we had lots of fun putting them in Brooke’s hair!  We have seen so many baby boys lately, it was lots of fun spending time with this little girl!   Thank you Mierzwa Family!  Your new addition is precious!

This was my AMAZING Calistoga wedding we just did last weekend. You know its going to go well when the wedding itinerary says before the ceremony the guests will start out with a shot of patron and apple pucker. This was total spur of the moment totally spontaneous wedding and was amazing because of it. We got the call for this weddings only 30 days before the event date and had little time to plan. I was a little scared but in the end I have to say it was the most amazing experience I have ever had as far as wedding go. This wedding was 100% in the dark also. Yes they planned it so it was a night wedding. Very different but we were able to use what little light we had and make the most of it! The bride local owner of twigs gift store was  amazing to work with and the groom local artist and designer for jesse james ( YES JESSE JAMES of west coast choppers- WOW ). This wedding was AMAZING. I had no clue what I was in store for besides it was in Calistoga. I walked in that day with a full staff and an open mind and we rocked that wedding like no other.The bride and groom were soooooo easy to work for an so laid back. The words out of his mouth from the get go was do everything you ever wanted to do with your paying clients but cant. I want exactly the opposite of what everyone else’s pictures look like. That tall order to fulfill but it was what I had to deliver. WOW! I always say everything happens for a reason and I believe it does. This wedding was intentionally in the dark. I just went away to a FULL professional lighting training in June. IF I had not have gone to that training last summer I would NEVER have taken on that job. Because of my training I feel like we are one of the most competent wedding staff in northern California now. Because of my training we rocked that wedding. Well Michael and missy you changed my mind about thinking outside of the box and I hope I created a memory you will be sure to cherish for a lifetime. I LOVED every minute of every detail I captured. You both were amazing and wish you a bright future!

CHEERS to thinking outside the box as that is MTR’s new motto!

This Wedding Photography session was taken in Marysville!   We had so much fun traveling urban with this bride and groom!   We have had urban photography sessions with families, seniors and even a few children, but it was so much fun with a bride and groom and their wedding party!   Joni and Justin are adorable together!  You can tell they are completely in love and were both so excited to get married!  After their wedding at the Marysville Methodist Church, we drove to the Sutter Events Center for their reception which was filled with amazing family and friends!  What a fun wedding!  Thanks to both of you! Here we are in Fall of 2010 committed to so many amazing events within our community. So keep your eyes out! We will be a little bit of everywhere this fall! In this post there will be all of our community events we will be out at from September to December. Again I thank all of you for making us who we are today!
