Yes its that time of year! the time where things finally slow down and I have time to update and showcase more of our amazing clients. Stay tuned as I will be updating sites and blogs and logos. I don’t even have words for how amazing 2009 was. I can hardly believe our growth. Its almost surreal. I am so excited to see what 2010 holds. We are literally days away from breaking ground on our new place. If all goes well and plans are signed monday we should be pouring our pad next weekend. It is that close!  I have a ton of fun new ideas that I am dying to try out now that there is finally time to breathe. Well be prepared for lots of changes for the better this year! Thanks for an amazing year!

On a side note…. As promised I will try and do a little catching up on showcasing some of my un blogged families. This was baby Leighton. She was an adorable little baby girl we had back in December. Enjoy!

This Children’s Photography session was taken at my home in Yuba City. Abby used to be one of my Busy Bees, but she went off to Kindergarten. Even though she doesn’t come to my daycare anymore, I still have seen her quite a bit for photos.  She is such a beautiful princess! Abby is one of my favorite busy bees of all times. Abby alike most of all my daycare kids I have had in care since they are just tiny babies. It is so fun to watch them gown up into beautiful little miracles. This Family Photography session was taken at our Hallwood location and also some urban, fun, traveling photos.  Raychell is one of my helpful Marketing Directors.  I appreciate all that she does for me.  I love taking photos of this family.  They are so adorable.  I have had many sessions with them.  You can see this family on much of my wedding and family marketing material.  Thank you Raychell for all of the assistance you give to MTR and thank you Sarcomo family for a wonderful session.

This was a new client of mine the Sharma Family. They were so fun to work with! You never know what your going to get when a family walks thru the door. Every child is at a different place as far as what they will do in a new strange place. Little Kayden did really well. He was a little shy. We had big plans to do lots of exciting stuff for individual pictures but really all he wanted was his mommy. What was going to be a basic children’s session with a  few shots of mommy and him turned into something totally amazing. I did manage to get some really cute single shots of him but mostly I was able to capture the connection between him and his mommy.  I know these images are so much more special and timeless for mom anyways. The next time I see Kayden he will probably be a bit older and just fine doing all the fun things I have planned for him independently. As one of my favorite songs go… It wont be like this for long- or he wont be like this for long! Enjoy your precious baby Megan you both were amazing to work with! See you next time!

This Community Photography session was taken in Downtown Yuba City. What a fun weekend!  Filled with Community and Charity Events.  The Christmas Stroll was so much fun!  We saw over 120 families and took their pictures with Santa at no charge.  Thank you to Pelton’s Party Rental for providing the background for this Community Photography session.  This was a 100% charity event.  With the help of Gold Country Bank we were able to take and print all of these photos.  If you had your photo taken,  your 4×6 photo will be ready to pick  up at Gold Country Bank on Monday, December 14th.  Below, you will find a link to a website where you can find the JPEG of your image.  This year, Michelle has decided to allow you to download your image and use it as you would like for an extra little gift!  It was great to see everyone at the Christmas Stroll!  Thank you and Happy Holidays!  To see some of the Santa Photos taken at MTR studios, click here! This Sports Photography session was taken at our studio in Yuba City.  I had a great time working with this soccer team. I had a great time taking Soccer photos of these girls individually and as a team.  We are starting this new division of MTR, Sports Photography. We really enjoy taking photos of all of these teams.  We took another soccer teams Sports Photographs a few weeks ago, Yuba City High’s Competitive Cheer team, and Yuba City Parks and Recreation’s sports teams.  We are having so much fun expanding MTR.  What a wonderful opportunity!

This mock Wedding/Engagement Photography session was taken in San Francisco.  I had a day off and what do I do?  Take a group of my staff and go off to San Francisco to capture some amazing photographs.   Joey Reimers and my sister Amy, two of my amazing assistants joined me.  Both of them are also wonderful photographers and editors for MTR.  We shot photos of my other assistant Jena Bird and her boyfriend Justin.  We took some amazing engagement type and wedding type pictures of Jena and Justin. Some of you might remember the mock engagement photography session I had with Justin and Jena earlier this year.  I wanted to add some awesome photos to my Wedding portfolio.  There is so much outside of our little town of Yuba City and we had a great time exploring and finding incredible places to take photos.   We have our first destination wedding in October 2010 in Cancun.  I am very excited about other destination weddings and events.  It’s always fun to shoot in places you are comfortable and familiar with, but it’s exciting to shoot in new places and capturing remarkable, magical moments.  Thanks team for a wonderful day!  I had a great time and I hope you did too!

From 7-9 this FRIDAY, December 4^th Moments to Remember will be taking photos at the annual Christmas Stroll in downtown Yuba City. A FREE 4×6 will be given to all Yuba Sutter Residence. We will also have packages available for those you would like to purchase more photos. Packages range from $20-$45. This is a 100% charity based event and we are thrilled to be a part of it!  We are so excited to have 3 awesome mommies to help us put beautiful smiles on all those adorable little faces. Saturday, December 5^th, MTR will be taking Santa photos at Christmas Magic in the Plaza. This is an extremely fun event benefiting Alpha Sigma- Theta Chapter, Hands of Hope and Cedar Lane Elementary.  The event is at Ruthy’s Restaurant from 10 -12:30. There will be Christmas Cookie decorating, Christmas stories, Christmas Carols, Arts and Crafts, Face Painting, food and drinks, and a fun Christmas tree auction for adults.  What a fun event!  We are so excited to be a part of this wonderful event.

YUBA CITY HIGH”S WINTER BALL is this Saturday…   we’re so excited to see all of these High School Students all dressed up!   We have designed an amazing, beautiful backdrop to capture awesome photos from this magical event!   We are very excited to be the Commercial Photographer for Yuba City High School’s dances. Yuba City High’s Winter Ball is this Saturday, December 5^th and we will be there taking each group’s photos from 8pm-midnight! We recently took the photographs for Yuba City High’s Sadie Hawkins dance which was so much fun!  It’s a pretty busy weekend and we have a lot of our staff out, but we have had wonderful mommies who have stepped up to help us out!  We have the best clients EVER!  Thank you so much!

We are so excited to be a part of the Craft Fair at Plumas Lake School. We were asked to be at this event, but with all of our other events this weekend we didn’t think we were going to be able to make it.  Then Mrs. Soto offered to run a booth for us and advertise our business.  What a great opportunity to market out in Plumas Lake!  Thank you very much Mrs. Soto for helping us be involved in this event.   We are so lucky to have such wonderful clients to help us out!
