This children’s and family photography session was done at the studio the studio location in yuba city. This event was done especially for the race for awareness event in yuba city to help out the geweke caring for women foundation.
Believe it or not pink October is here! this week we have a few very fun community events planned. One of them being the pink october – race for awareness this saturday october 3rd in yuba city at Geweke field. This saturday you will find Moments to remember and our team out on the field doing a fundraiser to raise $ for the geweke women’s foundation. Our contribution will be setting up a fun photo set for you to come and get pictures in pink to reflect on the importance of this event. So come one come all and here is your chance to get a fun pictures with your family of survivors. The photo set will include all kinds of fun pink things pink petti skirts, boas and anything pink we can find around the studio! this booth is encouraged to be a place to take pictures with survivors and their families but are not limited to that. MTR is there for the morning for any of your photo needs as long as we are raising $ for the cause. Thats the whole point here. So if you have a toddler or a senior or any scenario you all are welcomed and encouraged to take advantage of our talented team that morning. I really thank the Geweke family for including us in such a special event like this it truly is an honor to be apart of something so very special. children photography is my specialty so this should be a fun event. This Newborn Photography session was taken at my Yuba City home/studio. What a fun Newborn Photography session this was. Roberto was an angel throughout our session. He is such a sleepy baby, which makes taking pictures a breeze! He was just perfect! He has a ton of hair, so we had fun with styling it. This is the 2nd time this month we have seen the Santa Ana family. A few weeks ago, we had a 1st Birthday Children’s Photography session with big sister, Sienna. This new video is something totally new that I am trying out. I am going to be doing this new thing time permitting per session. On my big photography sessions I am not only going to be photographing but I will be doing some random video clips of your family and all their magic. something so fun. this is still in the trail phases but is going to be big- very big! I will bring the video back and post HD show just like this of some pictures and some video footage of our session. LIke I said this is my 1st one. It is not perfect at all. I DEF have some training to do on colors/pixilation – but ya know what who cares. I think its pretty sweet. they will become more and more interesting as I start doing them more often. I cant wait to start experimenting!!!!
This session was taken at one of our new locations in Yuba City. When we acquired this location I was so excited to start using it for my family and children photography sessions. We have brought a few seniors out to this location also and they have loved the fun atmosphere. It has the best of all worlds. Burnt and broke down barns & buildings, a TON of old vintage vehicles, farm equipment, literally acres and acres of orchards and secret trails. This place is a photographers dream come true. The Rai Farms makes for one of my new favorite locations in Yuba City. I have already had a ton of requests for this new location.
The Hodges Family- you know honestly I didn’t know how much fun is was going to be doing a family with 2 older kids. I knew my job would be easy for sure but my work and photography is geared towards young families. I thought geez what do I do with an older crew? I knew they didn’t want to blow bubbles or read books etc so it was going to be good old traditional photo night. Much to my surprise this family photography session was hardly that. These boys were so much fun and so cooperative. So was mom and dad. I had the funnest time with this family. They were willing to do anything I needed to make for great photos. They even suggested doing the walk away pose. What a good family- so willing and cooperative. I am so happy with their photos. Mom and Dad you have amazing kids and I thank you for your business and cant wait to see your family again for another family photography session. I thank Lori Meinking over at Labor and delivery for the referral. I love my L&D crew. They are ALWAYS sending me new people. I have virtually made my way thru the whole department with family and senior photography. LOL What exciting stuff. Love you girls!!!
This Senior/Graduate Photography session was an Urban traveling session. Paige and her friend Juliana came together for their session. We had a great time going around the Yuba Sutter area taking pictures. Paige is a cheerleader and an ASB officer at Yuba City High School. Thanks girls for a great shoot!

This high school senior photography session was done all around the yuba sutter area area! this was another traveling senior session that we did last week. I have been having soooooooooo much fun. I cant tell you how much fun traveling the streets with these high school seniors. We go where we want to go and stop where we want to stop. there are no rules/rhyme or reason with these senior photography sessions. Just to go out and have a blast. Thats what we have been doing! Kamalei was so much fun. This actually was an exceptionally fun yuba city high school senior photography session. As most of my blog followers and clients know this business has taken off! I have hired 2 FT editors /assistants in the last month along with our 2 marketing directors who make my life much easier. Well as business grows that means more employees right! Well here at MTR studios for every session I have a wonderful assistant come along to help with posing, props and just to keep the client/kids happy. Well we have 4 of my assistants who will be rotating thru session assistance. kamalei’s session was their training session. It was hilarious. I asked my one of my editors Joey to come and train my new girls on how to get the most out of our sessions. So kam had 5 of our MTR team along on our session. It was so much fun. she was center of attention that night. That night was quiet adventurous as we beat the street and found lots of fun spots for Kam. well Kam hope you dont think our team is too crazy and I hope you had as much fun as we did doing your yuba city high school senior photography session. This fun High School Photography session was taken at one of our new private locations, Rai Famrs and other various locations in Yuba City. Courtney attends Faith Christian High School. Her family is friends of ours. Her brother Logan is best friends with my son, Chase. We had a great time roaming Marysville and looking for new, colorful, exciting new places to include in our upcoming Senior/Graduate Photography sessions. Courtney is such a beautiful girl. I am looking forward to a Family Photography session with the Taylor family at the end of October. We will be shooting at the Taylor’s beautiful home/ranch.
This Yuba City High School Photography session was done at my Yuba City Home. This was Paige Taylor. We are so excited to have a new Commercial Photography session! In December we will be taking pictures for Yuba City High School’s Cheer Team. This is such a wonderful opportunity! We’re looking forward to our Commercial Photography session with the Cheer Team. This Senior/ Graduate Photography session was taken as a traveling on location urban session. Morgan is a senior from Sutter High School. She was referred by Nick and Andrew Lightle. Morgan was very fun to work with. She let me try new things to help get ready for the many upcoming Senior/ graduate Photography sessions that I have. This Senior/Graduate Photography session was taken at vairous locations throughout Yuba City and Marysville. Libby and I had a wonderful time roaming around Marysville. Libby ran the show. She had so many great ideas. Libby is a beautiful, 6 foot tall, cheerleader from Lincoln. Her mom, Jill Edgar, works with my close friend Lori Meinking as a labor and delivery nurse. This Family and Children’s Photography session was taken at Rai Farms and throughout Yuba City. My wonderful assistant Jena, my daughter Chelsea, and I went out tonight. We had a great time getting familiar with some of our new locations for our upcoming sessions. We scouted out some new ones in Yuba City and visited a private location, Rai Farms. We have so many upcoming sessions; we want some new and fresh locations to use. The three of us girls couldn’t just go out and look, we had to take some pictures. Thanks Jena and Chelsea for always being my little models when needed. Jena is my do-all helper. She is always there to do whatever I need her to do. I am so thankful to have her working for me at Busy Bees daycare and also Moments to Remember. Tonight was supposed to be my night off, but this was worth the time!
This was my first ever true Urban Maternity Photography session. Sarah and I had a great time roaming Marysville trying to find unique and exciting Urban shots! Sarah was very excited about having an Urban Maternity Photography session and I was thrilled to shoot this for her Sarah was referred by the Patane, Sheppard and Williams family. This Commercial Photography session was taken at my Yuba City home. What a blessing to be a part of such a wonderful event. We are looking forward to honoring all Breast Cancer Survivors at the upcoming Pink October. On October 3rd you will see us at Geweke Field to support and raise money benefitting Geweke™s Caring for Women Foundation. Tonight I had the honor of taking pictures of a few Breast Cancer Survivors and their supporters, including Jill Shafer, her daughter Gabriel Shafer-Sorensoen, Margie Owens, Janice Ray, Jazzmine Brown her daughter, and her granddaughter Zaiann Ray. I feel privileged to be a part of such a special event. We hope to see you on October 3rd!

This senior photography session was done in the streets of Marysville. All I can say is so much fun. This high school senior made my job so easy. Haydens big things in life are his classic can and his football. I was lucky enough to have him bring this really cool addition to our shoot. This classic car was passed down from the generations and it holds a very important place in haydens life. I dont know much about cars but haydens mom informed me about some of the cool stuff he has done to his car and WOW. I dont know how a high school senior could know so much about cars. amazing! well lots of fun clothing changes later and many adventurous locations and I want to say Hayden- we got some pretty darn amazing photos of you. I hope your mom is happy and has some great photos to look back and remember this time in your life as you wont be like this for long! This children’s and family photography session was done at my studio in Yuba City. I just met the Pincsak Family just a few short months ago as I started following baby sidney at 2 months. She has been such a joy to work with. Their family is so laid back and up for anything. Sidney was such a good girl today and didn’t make a peep at her session just had a blast playing dress up. she is so cute I cant stand it! well the Pincsak family will be keeping this yuba city photographer busy as I see them again VERY soon for their family session. There are lots of choices out there for family and children’s photography and thanks for choosing moments to remember. I cant wait to watch Sidney grow up to be a little princess.
This is the Warren Family’s new bundle of joy. She was born just over a week ago and was ready for this Newborn Photography session. This adorable princess was joined by her parents and big sisters, Regan and Peyton. This family was just amazing. I have been conversing with Lindsay for months LITERALLY about her sessions for this little baby and her maternity needs. She was one of those people who you just love and you’ve never really even met them before. The Warren family was so exciting to see in the studio. We had such an amazing time. Her kiddos were s precious and so good. We had a few funny mishaps I will keep between me and lindsay that kept our session exciting. LOL. There was the one daddy arm pose that Linsday requested and was #1 on her list. This SAME pose has been done as they had each of their children and continues to grow. lindsay you better not have any more kiddos- I dont know how we will fit one more in this picture pose- just kidding! Well I love doing Newborn Photography and getting to see all of the precious Newborns. I look forward to having my next session with the warren family as we do a 1st Birthday Children’s Photography session with Reagan next week! This Maternity Photography session was taken at my home in yuba city. This was Jennifer’s first time coming to Moments to Remember. She was referred by the Martin/Nichol’s family. I have been the Martin’s Family Photographer since the 1st day I started. Jennifer is almost due and I can’t wait to help her with her Newborn Photography needs. This HIgh school seniors photography session was done in Marysville. Sam is a senior at Yuba city High School. Sam came referred by the Pina Family. He and Zach are great friends. Sam is a swimmer at Yuba City High School. He also enjoys playing the guitar! We had a lot of fun with these two senior boys during their Senior/ Graduate Photography session. This Senior/ Graduate Photography session was taken in Marysville. Zach is from the Pina family. We have now seen the Pina Family 3 times this year already. They have a lot of Yuba City High School Graduates. It was just 2 springs ago that we saw Brittany Pina for her Senior/Graduate Photography session. Zach was a lot of fun to work with. His friend Sam joined us for a great Senior/ Graduate Photography Session. Zach loves to play guitar and skateboard. Thanka again PIna family and we will see you soon.
The Meinkings are very close family friends! We have wanted to get them in for a Family Photography session for awhile now. This Family Photography session started out at the Gillen Ranch. We had a great time with this family. They had their Family Photography Session along with the Gillen family. Morgan and Madison had a lot of fun posing for all the exciting photographs that we took. They are always cooperative during their Children’s Photography sessions. I have watched these 2 girls grow up into beautiful young ladies. I think dad even had a little fun during this Family Photography session. We finished the session in Marysville. Overall, the evening was a blast!
What a fun session! These are some of our closest friends. It comes in handy having a friend that is a photographer sometimes. We did this Family Session along with the Meinkings. They are also close friends, so this was an amazing shoot. We started this Family Photography Session at the Gillen’s home and captured some amazing photographs. We continued this Family Photography session into Marysville and had more fun! Darcy is getting so big. I have had many Children’s Photography sessions with Darcy in the past and I love to watch as she continues to grow up! Thanks guys for such a wonderful night!

As all of you might know we are quickly approaching the busiest time of the year for yuba city photography. By next week the sessions begin. Who would have thought being a photographer in yuba city could be this busy. This December will mark moments to remembers 2nd anniversary doing family and children’s photography. This started out just a fun hobby for me as I messed around with doing sessions here and there. Well nearly 2 years later it has become a 2nd profession for me. As many of you know I run a daycare as my normal profession and I intend on keeping it that was for some time. So in order to make all this magic work we have many elves helping around here at MTR studios. I am so happy to say we have so many fun events planned for this fall and so many neat products to offer right along with your family photography sessions. my little elves have been very busy building christmas card templates for over a week now. I am pleased to say we have about 300 templates from traditional to elegant to choose from. All of these templates are completely customizable, as we can change colors fonts and amount of pictures in most samples. This means there is something special for everyone. Later next week our session madness begins as we have about 10 sessions scheduled per week. WOW! I have quiet a list of clients who have requested fall sessions and I will be calling you I promise. For me getting all our marketing pieces/events, christmas cards and product line launched was far more important. Once these things are in place there is none of that madness left to do but only to let the session begin! I am happy to say that next week it will begin!
